Collection of personal data during purely informative visits to our websites

If you use our website for purely informational purposes, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, our provider only collects the personal data that your browser transmits to the server. If you wish to view our web pages, our provider collects the following data, which is technically necessary for it to display our web pages to you and to guarantee stability and security (legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO):

  • IP address
  • Date and time of the request
  • Time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
  • Contents of the request (concrete page)
  • Access status/HTTP status code
  • Amount of data transferred in each case
  • Website from which the request originates
  • Browser
  • Operating system and its interface
  • Language and version of the browser software

This data will be deleted after 14 days.

Cookies

If you do not have an account and visit us as an anonymous user on our website, we do not use any cookies.
Before you log in to our ‘lms-logon’ page, a temporary cookie is set to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie does not contain any personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will set some cookies to store your login information and display options. Login cookies expire after two days and display option cookies expire after one year. If you select “Stay signed in” when you sign in, your sign-in will be maintained for two weeks. When you log out of your account, the sign-in cookies are deleted.

Collection of personal data when sending an e-mail to us and when using the contact forms

If you contact us by e-mail or via our enquiry forms, e.g. to ask us questions about one of our products, the data you provide (your e-mail address and any other data, such as your name and telephone number, your employer and the content of your message and attachments) will be stored by us to answer your e-mail. The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for the purpose of your collection or we may restrict the processing if there are legal retention periods.

Registration and login for the use of the support portal

For customers with a valid license and maintenance agreement as well as a valid transfer and maintenance agreement and for interested parties (test installations) we provide the use of a support portal. This service is voluntary and not part of the above mentioned agreements.
If you register on our site, the data you provide (first name, last name, telephone number, e-mail address, employer (contractual partner), product(s) as well as the content of your message and attachments) will be stored by us for the performance of this service.

We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) can be subject to security gaps. A complete protection of the data against access by third parties is not possible.

Transmission

All personal data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent.

Statistical services (log files)

The IP addresses of the accesses to the servers are stored by the provider to track attacks and to avert dangers. Furthermore, the provider stores the accesses to our web pages with anonymous IP addresses for statistics and stores them for one calendar month at a time. These will be deleted after the first week of the following month. This storage is necessary for the execution of the contract between us and the Provider (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO). Contributions on this website may contain embedded content (e.g. videos, images, contributions, etc.).
